With the changing economic scenario, there was a felt need to built a Convention Centre in Surat, that could provide a platform to organise exhibitions, trade shows, buyer - seller meet, seminar etc. The Surat International Exhibition & Convention Centre ( SIECC ) was initiated to address to this felt need.

The Government of Gujarat allotted 1,20,000 sq. mtr. of land to develop SIECC at Sarsana, Surat.

Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India has allotted a grant of Rs. 45 crore under the Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme ( IIUS ) to develop such a facility on a scale that will be appropriate for the all - new look, modern metropolis, and to be implemented by SPV Sar Infracon Pvt. Ltd.

SIECC, is a pride of Gujarat. It is a state of the art Convention Centre equipped with all modern amenities. SIECC has a column-less dome of 10600 sq. mt.
